Five arrests for electricity theft

CORFU. The investigation into the cases was conducted by the Achilleion Police Department.
Five individuals were arrested by police officers on Friday morning, September 20th, for electricity theft.
The inspections were carried out in cooperation with a team from the DEDDIE, and it was determined that the five individuals (4 men and 1 woman) had made illegal connections to the power grid at their homes in an area on the outskirts of Corfu Town and were unlawfully obtaining electricity.
The investigation into the cases was conducted by the Achilleion Police Department.
The five were brought to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
