There are delays as the global IT outage hits Corfu Airport as well. Already, on Friday afternoon, travellers have begun to gather, filling the departure halls to capacity.
According to Fraport, which was asked about the issue by Enimerosi, the connection problems affecting bookings and check-ins have resulted in delays as these processes are being carried out manually. These delays affect flight preparation, escalating exponentially, burdening the system and causing crowds to gather at the airports.
