Warm thanks for the warm welcome and excellent collaboration to the following:

  • The Head of the Kindergarten in Sfakera, Eleni Trousa, and all the staff members.

  • The Head of the Kavadades Nursery School, Efmorfia Mokka, and the teaching staff.

  • The Principal of the 2nd Special School, Christos Kassiotis, and the teaching staff.

Placing composters in schools has a dual benefit for those involved, both teachers and pupils. Besides fostering environmental awareness through proper waste management, it also promotes healthy eating habits. An increase in fruit consumption by pupils participating in the programme has already been observed during their breaks, as they deposit their residues into the "magic box" that transforms peels into valuable soil conditioner.
