Roadworks progressing in Phaeces district

In the Felekas area, where the road surface remained damaged for many years, a completely new asphalt paving is being applied. Work is also underway on the road from Batsi to Ano Korakiana, where similar needs exist. The project is funded by the Public Investment Programme.

The Mayor stated, "The restoration work of our aged and damaged municipal road network is continuing seamlessly. Numerous projects have been carried out from 2021 until now which have significantly improved the road safety conditions in sections of the road network that had been left unmaintained for years. The priority we set for improving the infrastructure is evident in practice, for the benefit of the citizens."
