CORFU. Two members of the Greek Search & Rescue Association (EEED) along with trained dogs responded to the family΄s call for help on Saturday night.
It didn't take long for the rescuers and dogs to find the 95-year-old woman and bring her home. Two members of the Greek Search & Rescue Association (EEED) along with trained dogs responded to the family΄s call for help on Saturday night.
The family published a moving, open letter of thanks:
"Thank you very much Erika and Stamatis. However long she has left to live she owes to you and your four-legged colleagues.
You now have two more volunteers for the Greek Search & Rescue Association - me and Tasos.
We will give her a hot tea and a warm rub and tomorrow she'll be able to start her night walks again."
