CORFU. Another 45 bags of bottle tops will not go to Temploni but will go instead for recycling.
Another lorry was loaded on Thursday with recyclable materials to be taken to Thessaloniki.
Municipal Councillor Spyros Neratzis said that it is part of efforts by 'Corfu Initiave' that have been continuing for nine years.
Spyros Neratzis said, "Another 45 bags of bottle tops will not go to Temploni but will go instead for recycling. We would like to thank all the members of public that support these efforts to change people's way of thinking so that we can develop a circular economy.
We would also like to thank Kava Diapon and Mr. Tasoulas and Dimitris Kotsis' Recycling Centre for their voluntary efforts!"
