Two outdoor chessboards moved from Old Port to Upper Square

CORFU. The Upper Square now has outdoor chessboards following the decision of the Deputy Mayors for Technical Works and Everyday Life.
The chessboards were placed next to Capodistrias St. near the Petretini and Gialina Mansions.
The table boards were moved from the Old Port, where they had previously been vandalised by those who get their kicks from destroying public areas and property.
Some tables remain at the Old Port - those that are still in reasonable condition, although, as Deputy Mayor for Technical Works Nikos Kalogeros told Enimerosi, one of them requires repairs.
