25 May set as trial date for Archbishop Nektarios

CORFU. Nektarios, Archbishop of Corfu, Paxos and Diapontia Islands gave a statement to the Prosecutor this afternoon.
He has been charged with violating the law which forbids gatherings in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
This is a criminal offence and he will be tried on 25 May. His defence lawyer is Yiannis Kontos. The Archbishop appeared before the Prosecutor on Monday afternoon.
