ATHENS. EODY announced 47,497 new cases from 12 to 18 December - including 215 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 47,497 confirmed new cases last week, 30% of which were reinfections. The total number of cases in Greece is now 5,548,487, of which 52.2% are females.
The number of new hospital admissions is 1,343, while 1,200 have been discharged from hospital.
104 patients are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 77 and 98.1% have underlying health conditions or are over 70.
There were 150 deaths taking the total number of fatalities to 34,779. 96.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
