Two arrested for theft from car and shop

CORFU. Two young men stole a sound system from a car and the takings from a shop.
Two men aged 19 and 25 were arrested in Corfu on Saturday (7/12) afternoon for theft.
Police determined from their investigation that the two men had broken into a parked car in Corfu Town early on Saturday morning causing damage to the vehicle and stealing the sound system.
They then broke into a shop and stole 1,500 Euros from the till.
The men were caught by police on Saturday afternoon in possession of the sound system and 1,135 Euros from the stolen money, which were returned to the owners.
The two young men were interrogated by the police before being taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
