CORFU. The three Lefkimmi residents involved in the incidents at the Regional Offices were given six-month sentences suspended for three years.
The incidents took place at the Regional Offices last Monday during a protest against the granting of a licence to the Lefkimmi landfill. There were clashes with the riot police (MAT) and one man was injured.
The charges were for disturbance of the peace and civil disobedience.
