CORFU. The stolen money and items were returned to the owners.
A 39-year-old foreign national was arrested for theft in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The arrested man had stolen three purses in three different cafes in Corfu Town taking 208 Euros and other items worth 470 Euros.
Police were able to quickly find the 39-year-old, who had the stolen items and money in his possession. These were returned to the owners.
Following interrogation, the man was taken to appear before the Prosecutor.
