Urgent announcement from North Corfu Municipality: Documents for emergency financial assistance
CORFU. The procedure for granting one-off emergency financial aid for simple repair work and/or the replacement of household goods
In order to provide assistance to address the consequences of the recent floods, the Municipality of North Corfu has announced the procedure for granting a one-off emergency financial aid concerning simple repair work and/or the replacement of household goods.
List of Required Supporting Documents
• Application of the beneficiary or an authorised person (completed at the Municipality)
• Income Tax Declaration (Form E1) for the last tax year 2024
• Property Statement (Form E9) for the last tax year 2024
• Certificate of Family Status
• Inspection Report from the General Directorate for Natural Disaster Impacts.
(This applies to residents whose homes were inspected by a GDΑΕFK engineering team.)
• For rented residences: Lease agreement
• For residences granted free of charge: Property Lease Analytical Statement (Form E2) of the owner for the last tax year
• Persons with Disabilities: Submission of a Disability Approval Decision from OPEKA, or a certificate of disability allowance from OPEKA, or a valid KEPA (Disability Certification Centres) medical opinion, indicating the type of condition, disability percentage, and duration
• Photocopy of a Bank Account (IBAN)
• If there is a co-owner: the above supporting documents are also required from them
Where and how the application is submitted
Applications must be submitted as soon as possible to the office of the Mayor of North Corfu at the Town Hall in Acharavi.

• For any type of businesses, affected individuals must contact the Ionian Islands Regional Authority.
• For agricultural facilities and plant capital, affected individuals must submit an application at the Municipal Building in Agrós.
