Land Registry deadline extended to 30 May

CORFU. Over 72% have been completed in Corfu.
The deadline for submitting land registry declarations in Corfu and Thesprotia has been extended until May 30, as announced by the Deputy Minister of Shipping and Island Policy, and Corfu ND MP, Stefanos Gikas, and the MP for Thesprotia, Vassilis Giogiakas.
The decision was made during a working meeting held on Thursday, March 27, at the Ministry of Digital Governance with the Deputy Minister responsible for matters related to the "Hellenic Cadastre," Christos Boukoros.
After the meeting, Stefanos Gikas stated:
"Despite the fact that the Cadastral process in the Regional Unit of Corfu has exceeded 72%, there are still pending declarations, and some of our fellow citizens have not even managed to submit their initial declaration. This was exactly what we brought to the attention of the new Deputy Minister of Digital Governance, Christos Boukoros, who, in coordination with the President of the Board of Directors of the 'Hellenic Cadastre,' Stelios Sakaretsios, granted a final opportunity for the completion of the Cadastral process in Corfu and Thesprotia until May 30, 2025.
I would therefore like to thank the Deputy Minister, my dear friend and colleague Christos Boukoros, for accepting this fair request, which we submitted together with my colleague, MP for Thesprotia, Vassilis Giogiakas.
I believe that with this new opportunity, the pending Cadastral declarations for the Regional Unit of Corfu will be completed, while those citizens who, for any reason, have not yet made even their initial declaration will now be able to proceed safely with the process of registering their real estate.
I urge the citizens of Corfu, Paxos and the Diapontian Islands to take advantage of this opportunity to officially secure their property.
Our government has proven that it listens to the needs of local communities and provides solutions to citizens' problems!"
