Land Registry deadline extended again
CORFU. The new deadline is 1st February.
A new extension has been granted for the land registration process in Corfu (and Thesprotia), until February 1, 2025, according to the Deputy Minister of Shipping and Island Policy, Stefanos Gikas.
He posted the following on social media:
"Due to the increased number of declarations, the land registration process in Corfu and Thesprotia is being extended once again until February 1, 2025.
Additionally, four permanent positions for the Corfu Land Registry Office have been approved by ASEP, and if the selected candidates accept the positions, they will begin in February.
Furthermore, two more individuals will be hired in February on 12-month contracts.
By then, the expansion work on the building will have progressed, and the archives from the abolished Land Registries will have been transferred."
