CORFU. Pupils at Argyrades Junior High & High School and Lefkimmi High School are demanding cleaners and COVID-19 tests to be available.
Pupils at Argyrades Junior High & High School and Lefkimmi High School are holding sit-ins from Monday 21 September.
The pupils are protesting about cleaning measures for school facilities, which, they say, are not in line with the EODY protocols. They are demanding that more cleaning staff be employed and that COVID-19 tests be made available for pupils and teaching staff.
This is the first protest by pupils in Corfu and follows the demand from Corfu 6th Primary School PGA that the school be closed due to hygiene measures not being properly followed.
