CORFU. "After an exhausting three-day search, the persistence of those taking part brought a happy outcome."
Volunteer rescuers issued a statement expressing their satisfaction with the happy outcome for Tracy Maness, who disappeared on Monday morning.
"Our team is extremely happy that the 59-year-old was found safe and well! On April 5th at 15:20, after an exhaustive 3-day continuous search and persistent effort, our team, with the excellent collaboration of the Greek Police and the Fire Brigade, managed to achieve the desired result.
Despite the difficult weather conditions prevailing in the first few hours that she was missing and the swampy, wooded area where she was found, the persistence of those involved brought a happy outcome. Congratulations to everyone."
