Tourist, 15, who went missing in Liapades found

CORFU. His disappearance was reported by his parents when he did not return from swimming alone in Iliodoros, Liapades.
The 15-year-old who had been reported missing at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 11th, by his parents, when he did not return from swimming alone in Iliodoros, Liapades, appears to be well.
He is a Polish tourist who got lost in an area where there was no mobile phone signal.
His mother and stepfather, with whom he had come to Corfu on holiday, alerted the emergency services by calling 112. A large search operation was immediately launched by the Police and Fire Department.
Eventually, the 15-year-old, who had lost his way, managed to contact 112 shortly after 10:20 p.m., where he also provided his location via GPS. The young man is in good health.
