Heavy rainfall and strong winds are expected in the next few hours.
Members of the public are advised to restrict their movements to those that are absolutely necessary.
Central Corfu Municipality Coordinating Committee held an extraordinary meeting yesterday afternoon and all the emergency services are on standby to deal with any problems.
