German tourist rescued at Porto Timoni

The Coast Guard informed the Thinalia Fire Department and immediately four firefighters rushed to the scene with a stretcher.

Due to the location where the tourist was found, it was deemed necessary for the Coast Guard to transport her by boat, otherwise it would have taken hours to hike with the stretcher.

Eventually, the 50-year-old German woman was safely transported to Avliotes harbour in North Corfu.
