No refuse collection in South Corfu until 21 September

South Corfu Municipality is asking the public not to leave their rubbish outside the waste bins as scheduled maintenance work is being carried out at Palairou landfill.

"The Cleaning Service informs the public that it has been informed by Palairou landfill, where South Corfu municipal waste is buried, that due to scheduled maintenance work there will be no transportation and burial of waste up to and including Wednesday 21 September.

We ask the public not to leave their rubbish outside the waste bins for the next three days in the interests of public health. Normal service will be resumed at the landfill from Thursday 22 September."
