North Corfu road maintenance and repair work progressing

CORFU. The North Corfu Mayor Giorgos Mahimaris said that 2022 is a very important year, as the Municipality’s road network is being improved.
According to a statement issued by the North Corfu Mayor Giorgos Mahimaris, the major roadworks that have started being carried out are the following:
1. As part of the maintenance and repair of road network in Kassiopi, Thinalia, Agios Georgios and Esperia districts with a €2m budget, repair work has started on the road to Agios Andreas in Karousades. The work concerns the resurfacing of about 2,200 meters of the municipal road.
2. As part of the maintenance and repair of municipal roads in North Corfu with a €1m budget, work has started on the Aspiotades-Agios Georgios Pagon road of about 600 meters.
3. The repair of the main Mega Ydri road in Sidari is also underway.
