CORFU. Problem at Kassiopi desalination facility, which supplies water to a large part of North Corfu.
North Corfu Municipality has announced that the power cuts in parts of North Corfu on Thursday 30 June caused serious damage to DIADEYADK pumping stations and, in particular, to the Kassiopi desalination facility, which supplies water to a large part of North Corfu.
The power cuts on Thursday affected the following areas: Fakamia, Santa, Sinies, Ag. Spyrison Perithia, Kassiopi, Ag. Eleni, Analipsi, Viglatsouri, Viggla, Ag. Stefanos Sinies, Perithia and Loutses.
North Corfu Municipality and the northern department of DIADEYADK are working hard to repair the damage and restore water supply as soon as possible.
