CORFU. Corfu Hospital Director Leonidas Roubatis thanked them for their "superlative contribution".
Statement from Corfu Hospital Director Leonidas Roubatis:
"Every year on 12 May we recognise the superlative contribution of nursing staff in the public health sector and their crucial role, which was emphatically demonstrated during the pandemic.
Despite the difficult work and health conditions, nurses fight daily to provide safe health services with quality to society and all citizens.
We can see them in health centres, research centres, schools and universities.
International Nurses Day gives us the opportunity to take a look at their contribution to the health system and care for the public and to thank them for their daily work.
As Director of Corfu General Hospital, I would like to give warm thanks to the nursing staff for their contribution and the high level of service they provide every day to those using our hospital facilities."
