CORFU. Through a programme contract with the Ionian Islands Region.
The Ionian Islands Region announced a programme contract with the Corfu General Hospital, which was signed by the Regional Governor Rodi Kratsa and the Hospital Director Leonidas Roubatis.
The contract concerns the supply of a new ultrasound machine, which will provide better and faster diagnosis, since the existing machine is old and does not meet modern requirements.
“This machine is vital for the hospital’s proper operation and the Ionian Islands Region could not but contribute to this effort for better health services to the citizens”, said the Ionian Islands Regional Governor Rodi Kratsa.
In addition to the inclusion of €25,000 in the budget, which was approved by the Ionian Islands Regional Council for the supply of the new ultrasound machine to the General Hospital, the Ionian Islands Region is supporting the Corfu General Hospital with the supply of €3,085,600 equipment through the ESPA 2014-2020 Programme.
