Cruise ship returns to Corfu Port with crew member ill

CORFU. Not long after the ship had departed from Corfu Port on Sunday evening the Port Authority received a call from the captain requesting to return.
The cruise ship Aida Blu, sailing under the Italian flag, was just north of Corfu when it sent a request to return to port as a 27-year-old foreign national crew member needed to be admitted to hospital.
The ship returned and the crew member was taken by ambulance to Corfu Hospital.
The cruise ship then departed once again to sail to Otranto in Italy.
