Corfu catering establishment fined and closed for 2 weeks for indoor customers
CORFU. A total of 39 fines were issued in Corfu and another 8 in the other Ionian Islands on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 May.
Ionian Islands police teams are continuing their checks to ensure that the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus are being adhered to.
On Sunday 16 May a catering establishment was fined €3,000 and closed for two weeks for having 3 customers seated indoors. The customers were also fined €300 each.
On 15 and 16 May fines of €300 for not wearing masks were imposed on 33 people in Corfu, 2 in Zakynthos and 2 in Cephalonia.
€300 fines were also issued for lockdown violations as follows: 6 in Corfu and 4 in Zakynthos.
