Primary School Teachers: Without tests on young children spread of virus cannot be controlled
CORFU. Primary School Teachers΄ Association says Municipality and Regional Administration should fulfil their promises of free tests.
In a Facebook post the Primary School Teachers' Association (SEPE) President Antonis Koursaris is demanding immediate tests:
"Based on information from the 6th Primary School PGA, there is growing concern in the community. Without tests for the young children we will have an even greater transmission as we won't be able to identify those who are asymptomatic and spreading the virus.
Tests must be carried out on all of them NOW!
The Municipality and Regional Administration should fulfil their promises of free tests.
Just to remind you - the 6th Nursery School and 6th Primary School have suspended lessons for 14 days following 7-year-old pupils testing positive."
