CORFU. The cruise ship with almost 1,000 passengers and 666 crew members docked in Corfu Port at 07:30 on Friday 2 October and departs this evening.
Mein Schiff 6, owned by TUI Cruises, arrived at Corfu Port at around 07:30 this morning with 922 passengers and 666 crew.
It is the ship's second visit to Corfu this season - the first, which was also the first visit of a cruise ship to the island this season, was on 17 September.
Mein Schiff 6, which is expected to depart at around 17:00 this evening, is the ship which caused concern with the news that 12 crew members were positive for coronavirus - which turned out to be a false alarm.
Following the two PCR tests carried out by EODY in Piraeus Port it was confirmed that there were no cases of COVID-19 and the TUI cruise ship resumed its 7-day voyage (Heraklion - Piraeus - Corfu) as scheduled.
