Caustic comments about Meropi Ydraiou from ΄Kerkyra 180΄: "L’ état c’est moi"

CORFU. We can see the new "I am the state" said the local party ΄Kerkyra 180΄ with regard to Meropi Ydraiou΄s actions on Palm Sunday.
The party's statement wasaccompanied by a photo of the Mayor taken at Christmas, which was much commented on.
Statement from 'Kerkyra 180'
The Mayor herself answers the accusations that our criticism and comments are 'party politics' with her actions and her personal attack on our leader Maria Dri.
It seems that substantive comments aiming at improvement are not only discouraged but, on the contrary, are shot down, taking us back in time - and we can see the new "I am the state" with the Mayor accompanied by the Council President attending the Palm Sunday service at St. Spyridon Church in full view of all the media and arrogantly ignoring the law and the EODY guidelines which everyone must adhere to.
Is the Mayor allowed to ignore the very guidelines that she asks the public to follow? Is she allowed to be the exception and attend a service behind closed doors when all the other believers, obeying the law and protecting the public health, are not attending?
At this critical point in history the local authority is turning a deaf ear to criticism and comments and demeaning not only the efforts of the public employees and volunteers - which she is so fond of using as an argument against every criticism - but also the sacrifices of all the members of the public who are adhering to the strict and difficult measures.
