CORFU. Once again this year, Nikiforou Theotoki Street, below the Old Philharmonic Society premises, was packed with people who had gathered to get a ΄taste΄ of what’s to come in the next 24 hours.
Every year on this day, a beloved tradition for both Corfu locals and visitors is to gather outside the Philharmonic Society buildings to listen through the open windows to the final rehearsals of the iconic mourning marches of Good Friday and Easter Saturday.

Once again this year, Nikiforou Theotoki Street — home to the Corfu Philharmonic Society (the 'Old' Philharmonic), the island’s oldest philharmonic society (founded in 1840) located in the heart of the old town — was packed with people who had gathered to listen to the Adagio, The Mother's Pain, Amleto, and to get a 'taste' of what is to come in the next 24 hours on the path toward the Resurrection.
