International award for Corfu artist Spyros Mouratidis

The Corfu painter Spyros Mouratidis was recognised internationally with the awarding of the "Excellence Awards" at a global watercolour exhibition in Nepal, ranking him among the top ten artists worldwide who were honoured at this prestigious event.
The awarded work highlights the universality of art. It is a watercolour depicting Little Bay, a suburb of Sydney, Australia, created in Corfu and exhibited in Nepal!
Earlier that same year, the artist had received the Nomination Award in Singapore.
According to Spyros Mouratidis, 2024 was an exceptional year, as he participated in seven global watercolour exhibitions across Europe, Asia and America, bringing his total participation in international and global exhibitions to 46.
The exhibitions he took part in during 2024 are as follows:
- Vietnamin Acquarello 2024 in Hanoi, Vietnam, in March 2024.
- Fabrianoin Aquarello 2024 in Italy, in 2024.
- 2nd Singapore IWS International Watercolour Exhibition 2024, with the theme "Light to the World", in Singapore, in August 2024.
- EXPOSITION D'AQUARELLES ET PLEIN AIR AUTOMNE 2024 in Fonsorbes – Aspet, France, in October 2024.
- An exhibition in Texas, USA, in October 2024.
- IWSHEMKANTI ART GALLERY, with the theme "Sound of Colors", in Nepal, in November 2024.
- 2nd Olympiart 2024 in New Delhi, India, in December 2024.
Regarding Spyros Mouratidis' participation in future watercolour exhibitions for 2025, his works have already been selected for global exhibitions in France, Italy, Poland and Serbia.
As for his solo exhibitions, in March 2024, he held his 8th solo painting exhibition at the Evxinos Club of Thessaloniki, with the theme: “The Duty: Refugees of the Asia Minor Catastrophe.”
