Bus driver suspended for shouting and swearing while driving
CORFU. According to KTEL, it has been suggested that he undergo a medical examination by the company doctor.
The driver of the KTEL bus who was swearing whilst driving from North Corfu has been suspended.
In a video posted on social media, he is seen swearing and blaspheming, hitting the steering wheel and window with his hands, and shouting at tourists in both Greek and English, telling them to show respect. He also claimed that he had been working for 15 consecutive days without a day off.
According to KTEL, he has been suspended, and it has been suggested that he undergo a medical examination by the company doctor.
Moreover, the KTEL management denies that he worked for 15 days without a break, pointing out that there are recorded days off on August 11, 12, and 16, and that on the specific day, he had taken the scheduled rest break.
