Athens-Corfu bus comes off road in Agrinio - all 39 passengers unharmed

CORFU. Despite the acident, all 39 passengers left the vehicle safe and unharmed, with no injuries reported.
The passengers on the Corfu intercity bus, which was operating the Athens–Corfu route on Sunday morning, 26/4, were fortunate when the vehicle veered off course and collided with protective barriers near Agrinio.
The incident occurred under circumstances that are still unclear. Despite the deviation, the 39 passengers exited the vehicle safe and unharmed, with no injuries reported.
There was an immediate response at the scene to assist the travellers. With the support of the local KTEL Agrinio service, another bus was dispatched, which picked up the passengers and safely transported them to their final destination, Corfu.
The exact causes of the accident are expected to be investigated by the competent authorities, in order to determine whether the deviation was due to a mechanical failure, road conditions, or another factor.
