Antica vintage car club visits North Corfu

North Corfu Deputy Mayor of Tourism and External Relations, Nikos Hirdaris, posted on social media that 30 antica vintage cars with 60 passengers from Italy visited North Corfu.

"Today we had the pleasure of hosting in Kassiopi 30 antica vintage cars with 60 passengers from Italy. In Italy, there are 350 vintage car clubs with 200,000 members who organise trips to various parts of Europe. They are high-income visitors, a type of theme tourism, who come during off-season periods, have a very active social media presence, and thousands of followers worldwide.

The president of the largest club, Franco Casamassima, thanked the municipal authority which, in collaboration with Kassiopi Cultural Society and the local council, provided every facility for this event. We also agreed to develop closer cooperation so that large groups of visitors of this kind will visit North Corfu more frequently in the future, organising similar events."
