Anemomylos Cultural & Environmental Association meets with local authority representatives
CORFU. They discussed matters of concern to the local residents.
On April 23rd and 24th, Anemomylos Cultural and Environmental Association met with the Deputy Mayors of Cleaning Services, Spyros Neratzis, Technical Services, Andreas Kardonas, Everyday Life, Panayiotis Theotokis, as well as the Director of Technical Services, Spyros Koronakis, to discuss crucial issues that concern and affect the daily lives of the residents of the suburb and beyond.
During the meeting, the following topics were discussed:
The regulations and maintenance of the park, improvement of traffic flow and parking for cars, buses, and scooters.
Everyday life issues such as lighting, maintenance of the road network, cleanliness, and waste collection, as well as issues concerning the shore and the Mon Repos area.
Representing the Association at the meeting were President Pantelis Kontos, Vice President Vassilis Pandis, General Secretary Vania Stoyiannou, and member Anna Agathou.
The discussion was conducted in a very cooperative atmosphere with the sole goal of improving the daily lives of citizens and also the participation of everyone for the promotion of the suburb and the improvement of people's lives.
Also, in a phone call with Ionian Islands Deputy Regional Governor of Technical Works, Mr. Mamalos, assurance was given that the appearance of the construction site on the shore road will be improved for the Easter period.
