Fallen lantern replaced in Liston

CORFU. The lantern had fallen in March 2023, succumbing to the effects of time.
Yesterday, one year after its fall, the repaired lantern was repositioned in one of Liston's arcades. The fact was announced by Central Corfu Mayor, Stefanos Poulimenos, on social media.
"It is our obvious obligation," said the Deputy Mayor of Everday Life, Takis Theotokis, "which, however, often never gets done!"
The lantern had fallen in March 2023, succumbing to the effects of time. Fortunately, no one was injured at the time, but such incidents have occurred in the past due to the apparent lack of maintenance.
