Boy, 10, rescued after falling from bridge in North Corfu

CORFU. Firefighters and an ambulance rushed to the scene.

The Fire Department received a call shortly after 4 p.m. today after a 10-year-old boy fell from a bridge in the area of Agios Panteleimonas in North Corfu while riding a bicycle. Two fire engines with five firefighters from the Thinalion Fire Department went to the scene and were able to rescue the boy, who couldn't climb up. As a precaution, an ambulance also rushed to the scene.

According to the Fire Department, the child is in good health.
