AHEPA Corfu donates 3.5 tons of food to Church community shop
CORFU. The food was collected by members and at a special event at Corfu Conservatory.
As it does every year, the Corfu chapter of AHEPA (American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association) delivered the impressive amount of food collected by its members and at the special event at the Corfu Conservatory to the Church community shop.
Various types of food, amounting to 3.5 tons, including fresh and frozen items, as well as solid food, pasta, dairy products etc., were delivered to cover the increased needs over the festive period.
Archbishop Nektarios warmly thanked the members of the AHEPA Corfu chapter. He praised the multifaceted and exceptionally significant work they carry out in the local community, urging them to continue with the same zeal to find supporters and imitators of their actions.
The AHEPA Corfu chapter expresses warm thanks to the businesses Fotinos, Corfu Delicatessen, Kazianis S.A., Kritikos Supermarket, Sklavenitis Supermarket, AB Vasilopoulos Supermarket, and General Trade for their support in this initiative.
