4th Radar Open Day by Civil Aviation Personnel Association
CORFU. Apart from admiring the unique view from a height of 600m, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a guided tour of the facilities for flight safety.
For the 4th year, the Civil Aviation Personnel Association is organising a Radar Open Day for the public at the Agii Deka radar station on Sunday 12 November, 10:00-14:00.
Apart from admiring the unique view from a height of 600m, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a guided tour of the facilities for flight safety.
Members of our association will guide you around the facilities and explain how the radar station operates with its electronic communication and monitoring system, which is used to ensure the safety of flights at Corfu Airport and in Greek airspace in general.
The Open Day is being organised as part of the International Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel (ATSEP) Day.
In the case of adverse weather conditions, it will be postponed to the following Sunday, 19 November.
