Man, 66, injured aboard yacht near Mathraki

CORFU. A 66-year-old man on board a Greek-flagged yacht was injured while sailing in the maritime area north of the small island of Diaplo in the Diapontia Islands. The Port Authority of Paleokastritsa was informed of the incident yesterday afternoon.
The 66-year-old fell from the boat's ladder, resulting in a minor head injury. Initially, he was transported by tender to the port of Agios Stefanos Avliotes in the North Corfu Municipality and subsequently transferred to Corfu General Hospital by ambulance.
A preliminary investigation is being conducted by Paleokastritsa Port Authority, which operates under Corfu Central Port Authority.
