Missing woman, 18, found in Agios Giorgos Argyrades last night

CORFU. The young woman was found in good health by a local in Agios Giorgos Argyrades.
An 18-year-old girl who had gone for a swim at Agios Giorgos Argyrades and then gone missing was finally located last night after an extensive search.
The Port Authorities of Corfu, Lefkimmi, and Igoumenitsa were informed by the Hellenic Coast Guard Unified Search and Rescue Coordination Centre, and the local emergency plan was immediately activated.
A vessel from the Coast Guard, a Coast Guard patrol vehicle, and a police land patrol vehicle were mobilised, while two professional sea leisure equipment lessors were also notified to provide assistance.
Eventually, the 18-year-old was located by one of the two professionals in the area, in good health, in Litharia Agiou Argyradon.
