The protest for the abandonment of Corfu sports infrastructure, especially the sealing off of part of EAKK, was unfortunately held without the expected participation.

Representatives of sports clubs, coaches, children as well as labour unions and political bodies and candidates took part at the protest.
However, the turnout was not as high as expected, as can be seen in the photos, despite the numerous announcements of the last few days.
The very experienced and distinguished coaches who have brought out champions, Nikos Moschos, Pavlos Skordilis and Nikos Perros, spoke for the umpteenth time to the local media for the disregard of sport on the island and the indifference to the youth of Corfu.
Apart from sports bodies, also present at the protest were Alekos Avlonitis, Dimitris Biangis, Aggelos Spyrou, Christos Moraitis, Alexandra Balou, Babis Haralambous, Yiannis Borbotis, Takis Metallinos, Stamatis Pelais, Achilleas Kapetanios, Alexandros Vergis, Spyros Stefanidis, Vera Koronaki, etc.
