CORFU. "ΕΠΑΝΑCYΣΤΑΣΗ ΄21: The contribution of the National Historical Museum to the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution".
An online lecture will be held by the Ionian University Museum. The speakers will be Natasha Kastriti (Art Historian, General Curator of National Historical Museum's Collections) and Regina Katsimardou (Historian, Curator of the National Historical Museum's Historical Documents Archive).
The anniversary programme of the National Historical Museum entitled “ΕΠΑΝΑCYΣΤΑΣΗ ‘21” (Revolution ‘21 Reframed) aims to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution.
It is a project through which the National Historical Museum attempted, based on the findings of modern historical research on the Greek Revolution, to re-introduce to the public its valuable material, approaching the causes, persons, events, conditions and results of the Greek War of Independence in a different way.
