Food distribution Wednesday to Friday for those in need

CORFU. The distribution will take place 29-31 March at a warehouse on Eth. Pelekas Rd. (Spiggos Quality Fruit, 3km Eth. Pelekas Rd in Mamali Alepou).
The Ionian Islands Regional Administration will be implementing the Food and Basic Necessities Aid Programme, which is part of the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD).
There are approximately 1,900 eligible for the aid in the Ionian Islands including approximately 950 in Corfu and Paxos.
The food and basic necessities will be distributed from a warehouse on Eth. Pelekas Rd. (Spiggos Quality Fruit, 3km Eth. Pelekas Rd in Mamali Alepou) at the following times:
Wednesday 29/3: 10:00-15:00
Thursday 30/3: 08:30-15:00
Friday 31/3: 08:30-14:00
Fresh and dried food will be distributed as well as basic necessities.
Please note, those coming to pick up packages must observe the following:
- Masks must be worn and social distancing observed.
- ID or AMKA number is needed or an authorisation if someone can't come in person.
