Car body shell pulled out of the sea at Corfu Port with disturbing contents

CORFU. The initial estimation of the Central Port Authority is that the car had been in the water for over one and a half years. The body shell will reveal who the owner was.
The car was spotted by the crew of a ferry boat late on Monday evening. Port police officers immediately went to the scene and a diver was able to confirm the fact. The shell was then lifted out of the sea by crane and bones were discovered in the car.
Firefighters cut open the vehicle and evidence was collected in order to determine the owner and driver as there were no number plates. The medical examiner was also present at the scene.
The initial indications are that the car fell into the sea and got stuck at the bottom. It became visible yesterday evening due to the currents.
Police are conducting an investigation and foul play has not been ruled out.
