What Fraport said about the delayed transfer of 13-year-old patient

CORFU. "We didn΄t turn down any request - the airport is ready to respond on a 24-hour basis seven days a week."
"Corfu Airport never received nor rejected a request from the responsible authorities for the airlift of a patient," said Fraport.
Fraport's statement:
"Following the reports regarding the delayed airlift of a 13-year-old patient from Corfu to Athens, Fraport would like to state the following:
Corfu Airport never received nor rejected, for whatever reason, a request from the responsible authorities for the airlift of a patient.
As Fraport Greece has previously stated, Corfu AIrport is in readiness at all times to support airlifts of patients 24 hours a day seven days a week, maintaining a continuous air connection with the island.
It should be noted that since the start of the repair and renovation work on the runway there have already been airlifts with patients - the last two departed from Corfu Airport at 18:15 on Friday 13 January and 16:00 on Sunday 15 January."
