12.5% increase at Corfu Airport in October

CORFU. The large increase recorded was due to demand in the markets of Germany, France, and Israel.

Corfu International Airport recorded a 12.5% increase for the month of October compared to the same month in 2024, which corresponds to an additional 50,000 passengers.

According to Fraport Greece’s monthly information bulletin, the big rise it recorded was due to demand in the markets of Germany, France, and Israel, while growth is supported by the strong performance of the airlines Ryanair, easyJet, Lufthansa, TUI, and Corendon.

In October 2025, the airports managed by Fraport Greece handled 3,500,000 passengers in a single month, showing an increase of 3.7% compared to October 2024.

Domestic passenger traffic reached 714,000 passengers, corresponding to an increase of 2.2% compared to October 2024.

International passenger traffic reached 2,786,008 passengers, recording a 5.3% increase compared to October 2024.

Since 2017, the year in which the 14 regional airports were concessioned, Fraport Greece has welcomed more than 248 million passengers.
