Christmas Village in Acharavi

CORFU. The village opens at 17:00 on Tuesday 20 December. Local producers will also be there with their products.
North Corfu Municipality will be celebrating Christmas and New Year with a special celebration for the first time.
A beautiful Christmas Village is being prepared where the area's cultural societies, philharmonic societies, choirs and dance groups will all take part.
There will be different events every day with animators, stilt walker, face painting, and live music from local groups and DJ nights.
Youngsters will be able to visit Santa's house to speak with him and have their photos take as well as put their letters in a large post box to be sent to the North Pole. They will also be able to get on the small train that will be going around Acharavi.
The Municipality would like to thank all the cultural societies supporting the event as well as all the sponsors. Thanks also to Vassilis Kaloudis for providing the train and all the volunteers who will be helping in the village every day.
