Corfu taking part in Climathon for second year

CORFU. Garbage Art Corfu and Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands Municipality are organising an event "Circular Economy" at the Aelos Beach Resort, 27-28 October.
EIT Climate-KIC is once again organising Climathon in dozens of cities and countries around the world. It is supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology and gives support to local initiatives to mitigate and adapt to climate change.
Corfu will be taking part for the second time in this global event to raise climate awareness with a 24-hour climate marathon giving residents the opportunity to take action, make suggestions, be inspired and come up with innovative solutions for the global environmental challenges.
Climathon Corfu 2022 is taking place at the Aeolos Beach Resort, 27-28 October, with the topic 'Circular Economy'. It is being organised by Garbage Art Corfu in collaboration with Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands Municipality.
Anyone who wishes can take part in Climathon Corfu 2022 and registration is free.
Registration is mandatory and includes free accommodation and meals. Winners at Climathon Corfu 2022 will receive vouchers from local businesses.
